Another fire at Blackpool pier

A small fire broke out on Blackpool’s Central Pier, necessitating the evacuation of the UK location and bringing four fire engines to it.

The fire was in the pier arcade and it is thought that it was caused by an electrical fault.

No-one was at risk in the incident, say the authorities, but it is the second small fire to break out at the pier in a year. Last June a small fairground ride was destroyed in a blaze.
