Bowling remains a timeless activity to people of all ages. It has withstood the test of time and remains a popular leisure activity and sport for fun and competitive play. The fun design of bowling, alongside the high skill-ceiling of the tournament play, enables locations to cater to many demographics.

Stars and Strikes focuses on the fun side of bowling, operating as a family-friendly location. Patrick Kelly, director of arcade operations at Stars and Strikes, gives background on why Stars and Strikes took this approach: “Stars and Strikes started as a family gathering. Chris and Jack had been friends for years. They were vacationing at a cabin with their families and felt like there were not enough activities around for families. Traditional bowling alleys and arcades were fun, but often dirty and dingy. The crowd at these establishments were not always the crowds you would want to hang around with your family. Especially if you had young children.
