This week’s ACOS (Autumn Coin-Op Show), held at the ILEC Conference Centre in London’s Earls Court, was hailed as a great success by exhibitors.

The event, taking the place of the old ATEI Preview in its time slot, provides a relaxed environment for industry networking.

Organised by Karen Cooke’s Swan Events, the 2023 edition earned positive comments from all the exhibitors spoken to by InterGame.
“It has been a busy, productive show,” said Paul Scott of E-Service, which was presenting its 3004e banknote and coin changer, a way of reusing old Thomas 3004 cabinets, and a cashless system for pool in pubs.
UDC was debuting a whole shoal of new products and the company’s Matt Bland said the reaction from operators at the show had been positive. Half way through day one he said: “This show has been very good so far.”
Reflex Gaming’s Quentin Stott had a similar opinion. He said: “It has been great to reconnect with many people in the industry. There has been a lot of uncertainty about the new law, but in the main the industry has emerged from the pandemic in a healthy condition.”
Steve Short of Bandai Namco told InterGame: “We don’t usually exhibit at this event, but we decided to do so this year and we are glad that we have.”
“A really good first day,” said Sue Cooke at TouchTunes. “We have had lots of conversations and have also taken orders.” The company was highlighting its cashless juke box system.
Tony Morrison of Innovative Technology was even more positive. “This has been one of the best shows in the last three years,” he said. ITL was turning its spotlight on an innovative age verification system.
GeWeTe’s Mark Edmundson said day one had been “a busy day with a really good turnout of attendees, but then ACOS has always been a good event for us.”
