Despite adversity, the Middle East forges on.

NO one will deny that it has been a difficult year, globally, but the amusement industry is, if nothing else, resilient and has weathered many storms in the past, perhaps not quite on the scale of the Covid-19 pandemic, in terms of its impact on business – not even the great international financial crash of 2009-10 can match up to its devastation.
At the time of writing, some of the markets in the Middle East were beginning to show signs of emerging from the crisis. Some were still closed, others hampered by lingering restrictions like limits on capacity, while a few were operating as normal.
