Diversified technology company 3M will unveil an extended temperature specification for its ClearTek II capacitive touchscreens at the KioskCom Europe show, strengthening its appeal for outdoor applications.
Following stringent testing, 3M is now able to assure ClearTek II screens for operation from -40C to +70C, a strong advantage for operators of outdoor kiosks and ATMs in colder climates.
“Key features of ClearTek II include at least five times more wear-resistance and durability over competitive solutions, accurate touch performance and the highest levels of light transmission in the market place today,” the company said.
