The Hollywood Bowl on the Edge Lane Retail Park in Liverpool, UK, is being given a major make-over at a cost of £2.1m.

The bowling centre, originally opened in 1990, has been gutted and it now boasts 28 lanes along with an all-new amusement section, bar and diner.
When it opened it had 42 lanes and was one of the biggest in the country. Now the revamped lanes include 14 that are licensed so that bowlers can enjoy alcohol while they bowl.
Today’s arcade has replaced the original bouncy castle that became a children’s play area. Now it contains the very latest coin-operated equipment.
Hollywood Bowl has another location in the city, at Speke.
