More details are coming through about the official launch of FabyLand, the huge new FEC opened at Dubai Festival City by Saudi Arabia-based Al-Othaim Leisure and Tourism Co, through its in-house FEC department.

The location, which has a futuristic theme, contains rides, attractions and games over 75,000sq.ft. There are 15 major rides, a MyTown dressing-up and play installation and more than 100 games, making the location one of the largest FECs in Dubai.
The president of the group, Fahad Al-Othaim, said at the opening: “We are delighted to launch our second FEC in the UAE, strengthening our offer across the GCC region.
“We hope that families will return to this location time and again. The position within Dubai Festival City is ideal, right next-door to Toys R Us and Centerpoint.”
The rides include a Bounce ‘n’ Spin, Jumping Star, Happy Swing Ride, climbing walls and bumper cars and family swings. For the more adventurous there are Air Racer, Mini Discovery, Top Dancer, Super Jumper and Drop ‘n’ Twist Tower.
The arcade area has video games, redemption machines and novelties and there is an XD Theatre. There is also the Dubai-exclusive Disco ride.
“The concept of FabyLand,” said Mohammed Salem, chief operations officer, “is a journey of fun and play for people of all ages. We hope that it will become one of the most preferred entertainment destinations in the region.”
Al-Othaim already has one FabyLand, at Deerfield Town Square, Al Bahia, Abu Dhabi. More of the same brand will be opened in Oman and Jordan towards the end of next year.
