STEPPING back a pace from the breathless rush of the Middle East’s first in-person trade show for nearly three years, the concerted opinion must be that it was an unqualified success.
Yes, there were a few who said that DEAL ’22 had fewer numbers, but they all immediately qualified that by adding “…but those who were there were all buyers.” Deals were done at DEAL, enthusiastically reported by the suppliers, fresh product was placed before visitors for the first time since 2019; and at the conclusion there were smiles all round.
