THE family entertainment industry is still very much in the grip of “immersive fever” – it is impossible to consider amusements or child’s play without the mention of gamification or a technological element to a play product that enhances the user’s sensory perception in some way.

The methods through which this is achieved vary. The most obvious implementation of this extrasensory experience is through virtual reality. This much-publicised medium has seen varying degrees of success over the last few years, but our industry is convinced of the power of its use in a family entertainment setting.
