With the day-to-day stresses of everyday life, it is no surprise that the popularity of experiences that include elements of virtual, augmented and mixed reality have continued to soar, as it allows people to step out of the everyday and into a new world that challenges their expectations.
People are drawn to these experiences for a whole variety of reasons, some not too dissimilar to those that lead people to use video games or reading as a form of escape. Those who choose to sit at a keyboard or with a controller in hand might enjoy the games they are playing, but one thing for certain is that they don’t get to experience the levels of immersion that location-based VR experiences can provide.
