Wynn has started recruiting staff for its new casino in the United Arab Emirates as it announced details of its accommodation and other facilities.
Wynn Al Marjan Island is off the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. It will house its casino inside a 305m tower block of 70 stories. It will have 24 restaurants, a beach club and night club, boutique shops and an events centre.
The casino will have two separate gaming areas, one of 224,000sq.ft which is larger than that of Wynn Las Vegas. The other will be a "sky gaming area" on the 22nd floor and there may be a third gaming area in the future.
The resort is scheduled to open in 2027. Wynn secured a US$2.4bn construction loan facility with a syndicate of international banks to finance the project.
