Former Pinnacle Entertainment CEO and chairman Anthony Sanfilippo has been nominated by the Wynn Resorts board of directors as a director at the casino operator’s upcoming AGM.
He will replace Margaret Myers, who has decided not to seek re-election after joining the board in 2018.
Sanfilippo has also been a division president at Caesars Entertainment and the president and CEO of Multimedia Games.
“Our Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee could not have found an individual better suited to augment our board’s expertise as we execute on our strategy – Anthony’s experience in the hospitality and gaming industry is unrivalled,” said Philip G. Satre, chairman of the board at Wynn.
“I had the great pleasure of working with him for many years and am confident he will have a significant impact on our board.”
