WMS Gaming demonstrated its newest products for international customers, including the best of Orion Gaming's games and platforms and Systems in Progress' bonusing technologies, at the International Gaming Expo this week.

All of the WMS products displayed at IGE were developed through the company’s Player Driven Innovation approach to game design.

With over 100 products demonstrated at IGE 2009, WMS showcased the largest number of games in its history for international markets as it continues to leverage its player appealing content and platform design into products that will expand the company’s global market penetration.

There were 65 WMS games, including 28 titles on the new fully digital HD Bluebird2 platform, as well as 37 Orion Gaming products including Game Pack, a multi-game offering. Orion also presented its first network-enabled gaming products such as its new Group Wins game that features communal game experience with networked gaming technology - the Twinstar II gaming cabinet featuring the N-Able platform.

“Since acquiring Orion Gaming in 2006 and SiP in 2007, we have accelerated the development of game content and technology platform offerings for international markets, furthering our position as a leading global provider of gaming products,” said Brian R Gamache, chairman and CEO of WMS.

“Today, our international product sales are a larger component of our annual unit shipments than at any time in our history. Our ability to offer new games simultaneously in markets spanning the globe coupled with the enhanced entertainment value and product functionality of our new Orion and SiP products are important factors contributing to our increased international success.”
