Sweden’s state-owned operator Svenska Spel has seen GGR fall slightly to €178.2m, down just one per cent.

Profits fell by two per cent to €62.2m from €63m and CEO Patrik Hofbauer was positive about the company’s prospects in the final quarter.
The figures come at a time when Sweden’s gaming industry is calling on the new gambling minister to break up the state-owned operatiion.
The new Swedish Moderate Party’s Minister for Financial Markets, Niklas Wykman, has a number of issues to deal with in his gambling industry responsibilities, but the break-up of Svenska Spel is called for by the country’s trade association, the BOS.
