Swedish gaming operator Svenska Spel has launched a new lottery game where wins are determined by a randomly selected region of the country.

Geographical locations in Sweden are the lottery tickets and players choose which spots to play.
The top prize in each draw determines the other prizes through geographical winner circles.
All locations within the circle win and the size of winnings is determined by how close players are to the drawn location.
Lyckoplatsen – The Lucky Spot – also allows players to choose charities as beneficiaries for each location placed.
Anna Romboli, business area manager at Svenska Spel Tur, said Lyckoplatsen is an “exciting and digital game” that has been “in demand by our customers.”
Each game costs SEK160 (£11.86) and offers 12 chances to win across a four-week period. The top prize is SEK1m (£74.1m) and draws take place every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
“Successful geo games already exist on both the Swedish and European gaming markets. Following a European model, we have, together with game developer Genera Networks and with the support of extensive customer surveys, developed the pool game Lyckoplatsen,” Romboli added.
