Total adjusted gross revenue (AGR) across casinos in the US state of Virginia rose nine per cent year-on-year in September to US$56.6m.

The overall jump from $51.9m in September 2023 was steered by climbs in AGR for slots and table games, respectively.

Slots revenue increased 10.4 per cent year-on-year to $43m and table games revenue rose 4.7 per cent to $13.5m.

On the tax front, Virginia’s casinos generated total tax of $11.4m, up 21.9 per cent year-on-year.

Although, there were month-on-month declines across all metrics compared to August.
