Sebastian Salat, the well-known sales chief at a number of companies in the street and casino markets, has been named as the new CEO at Zitro, the Spanish manufacturer of automated bingo games.

Salat will work with the company’s president, Johnny Ortiz, on the expansion of the specialist areas which have seen Zitro become a significant player in the Spanish, Mexican and South American markets in particular.
Sebastian Salat came to prominence as a senior figure in the sales department of Unidesa, the Cirsa-owned brand, in Spain in the 1980s, where he remained for 15 years. He moved on to WMS Gaming, the slots manufacturer in the US, remaining there for another 16 years.
Johnny Ortiz said that Salat’s appointment would be “an important boost” for the Zitro business, building within the jurisdictions already penetrated by the company and opening up new markets. Salat commented that he saw the Zitro range of automated bingo games supplemented by the company’s involvement in online games design, as “a solid foundation” for business growth.
