Pollard Banknote is adding to its Pollard Charitable Games Group with the US$10m acquisition of bingo products provider Pacific Gaming.

Pacific, which works with bingo electronics, handhelds, blowers, point-of-sale systems and bingo management systems, will join companies such as American Games and International Gamco in the division.

The addition of electronic solutions to Pollard Banknote’s charitable bingo stable will be an “important element of providing a comprehensive product offering to existing and new customers,” said John Pollard, the company’s co-chief executive officer.

"This acquisition continues Pollard Banknote's commitment to growing our presence in the important charitable gaming market and strengthening our leadership role as the partner of choice for charities throughout the US and around the world.

“We are extremely pleased  to have the Pacific team join us, and we look forward to continued success in expanding our reach within the bingo market."

Pollard’s Charitable Games Group already provides products such as paper pull-tabs, electronic pull-tabs, bingo paper, pull-tab vending machines, video verifiers and bingo daubers.

The deal is expected to complete on April 1 this year and will be accretive to Pollard Banknote’s net income, the company said.
