A new variation on the integrated resort theme could be about to emerge near Prey Vong province in Cambodia.
According to media reports in Malaysia and Vietnam, MQ Technology - an investment firm from Malaysia - is planning to link up with Cambodian Resorts and Entertainment, a newly created business entity, in order to set up a US$30m casino and theme park in the province, located near the Vietnam border.
The reports, citing an anonymous source, note that the construction side of the new project would be handled by MQ Technology while the actual running of the casino operations, upon the project’s completion, would be under the management of Cambodian Resorts and Entertainment.
