The new TUI Cruises ship Mein Schiff 2 has opened a Casino Merkur Mare on board.
The ship was launched in Lisbon in February. The Gauselmann Group has been operating one of its CMM venues on the sister vessel, Mein Schiff 1, since last year. There are also casinos on four cruise liners of the Pullmantur Cruceros shipping company.
The new shipboard casino covers 120sq.m and contains modern slots, an electronic roulette and coin pusher machine. Both of the Mein Schiff vessels also operate a blackjack live table. Outside there is a teenagers’ area with amusement games operated by CMM. Cash handling comes from the Gauselmann Group’s subsidiary, GeWeTe.
