MGM Resorts is closing the manned concierge desks of six venues on the Las Vegas Strip, according to recent reports.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal claimed that an email had been issued by a company rep stating that the desks at MGM Grand, The Signature, New York-New York, Mandalay Bay, Park MGM and Vdara, would be closed from today (Monday, April 28).
The company said that the 34 staff affected are being offered positions elsewhere or are being provided with “transition support.”
