The major exercise of the year for Merkur Gaming is its preparations for the world’s largest casino event, ICE in London.

With the restructuring of the individual stand areas within the Gauselmann Group’s massive booth, more space has been allocated to the Merkur products so that it can show off its new Avantgarde Max cabinets.
The new two or three-monitored cabinets house 31.5ins full HD screens so that players can immerse themselves even more in the game. The loudspeakers fitted at console height ensure an even more intensive gaming experience because of their improved transmission angle.
The motto for this year is Opposites Attract, so the Allegro Trio, already in a Slant Top Slim variety at the Balkan BEGE show, is an ideal counterpart to the Avantgarde Max. The Trio has powerful technology and screens 9mm deep and virtually frameless transitions between the three 27ins monitors.
Software includes the new progressive Treasure Link, containing African Glory, Dragon Marbles, Golden Silk, Joker Buffalo and Temple of the Nile, each with a bonus feature to target the different levels of jackpots. Rapid Thunder, the bonus feature, a non-progressive with five-level prizes, will bring family games such as Taco Tuesday, Land of Charms, Immortal Emperor, Immortal Princess, Baozang and Amulet of the Pharoah to new levels.
“These new Merkur products show how the influence of the US game design studio Sunshine Games has also reached Europe,” explained Athanasios Isaakidis, chief executive international of Merkur Gaming.
There are 12 new games in the latest package to be released by Merkur, including Wild Adventure Big 5 with The Lion King feature and the new Deep Forest. The Merkur HD multigames have been relaunched and the Merkur neon editions are now available in different colours.
The Merkur Roulette will be on the stand in theatre and hybrid versions. It has been designed in collaboration with Spintec and has made a significant entry into the international electronic table games market for Merkur.
Technical solutions will include Mars with its monitoring and accounting system plus elements for youth and player protection. Other solutions include the PIN-Center De Luxe terminal with ID scanner and the PIN 2 Play variant for mobile activation with Smart-PIN. Machine activation with biometric youth protection check capability will be there in the form of Play Safe and Easy Plus.
Also on the giant booth will be teams from subsidiaries Blueprint Gaming from the UK, Merkur Dosniha from Spain, GeWeTe, Edict e-gaming and Euro Payment Group.
