Total gaming revenue across land-based and online in Massachusetts, US, rose 3.8 per cent year-on-year in February.

Sports wagering, both online and in retail sportsbooks, as well as land-based casino gaming, generated US$158.97m in revenue according to the latest figures from the Massachusetts Gaming Commission.

That figure is up from the $153.2m posted in February 2024 but a decline from the $192.3m posted in January this year.

Sports wagering revenue across land-based and online in the Bay State in February was $65.6m, up 24.8 per cent year-on-year from $52.6m but down 30.5 per cent month-on-month from $94.4m in January.

In the land-based sector, table and slots GGR at fell 7.1 per cent year-on-year to $93.4m and from $100.6m and fell 4.6 per cent from $97.9m in January.

Total tax revenue in Massachusetts in February was $39.6m, up 2.1 per cent from February 2024’s figure of $38.8m but down 15 per cent from January’s $46.6m.

Sports wagering handle across both land-based and online betting was $628.2m in February, up from $542.5m in February 2024 but down from $762.5m in January.
