The Culinary Workers Union announced on its social media platforms on Wednesday, January 22 that an agreement had been reached between itself, the Bartenders Union and Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.

The workers have negotiated a five-year deal for around 700 employees, ending the longest strike by hotel workers in Las Vegas, Nevada, US for decades. The strike began on November 15, 2024 and lasted 69 days.

“Virgin Hotels Las Vegas and the Culinary and Bartenders Unions are pleased to be moving past their contract negotiations as each looks forward to fostering a positive and collaborative working relationship for the benefit of all team members at the property,” read the statement.
