Two US companies, Konami Gaming of Las Vegas and Phoenix-based Atronic, have entered into a multi-year agreement. Under the terms of the agreement, Atronic will develop and market its new stepper product, Passion Slots, based on Konami's software and hardware platforms.
"This agreement is the first of its kind for Konami Gaming," said chief operating officer Steve Sutherland. "We’re delighted to be working with Atronic. It’s a mutually beneficial agreement that will raise more consumer awareness and hence market share for both companies."
Michael Lauer, interim chief executive of Atronic, said: "We greatly value the partnership with Konami Gaming. We are excited about the important stepper-product market segment, and providing our customers a great product."
Passion Slots will debut at G2E in Las Vegas, from November 14-16, 2006. It will feature two five-level linked progressives, Treasure Hunter and Lady Orleans, along with several stand-alone titles including Atronic’s classic Sphinx.
