Oxfordshire’s InfoCash has won what it describes as a “prestigious” contract to supply ATMs to the Hippodrome Casino in London, which is set to open later this year.
The company, which is the third largest supplier of cash machines in the UK, will install and manage 12 free-to-use ATMs throughout the four-level casino.
Matthew Sneade, InfoCash corporate account manager, said it was exciting to be part of the Hippodrome project, which will see the historic Leicester Square building transformed into a state-of-the-art casino and entertainment complex as part of a £40m refurbishment.
“It’s a unique venue and is set to be a major London attraction and West End landmark.” He said. “The leisure sector makes up a significant part of our client base and working with some of the best known brands in gaming means it is an area we understand well.
“Cash is the lifeblood of live gaming and our ATMs in the foyer, gaming rooms, restaurants and bars, will ensure that the thousands of visitors who enjoy the round the clock Hippodrome experience will be able to access their cash at any time of day or night.”
Matthew King, COO of the Hippodrome Casino, explained that as the business will run 24 hours a day, seven days a week, high quality and robust reliability are key considerations.
