The sheer scale of Macau’s casinos offers enormous scope for IndigoVision’s camera solutions and software, the company said.

At this year’s G2E Asia show, IndigoVision featured its latest HD cameras and SMS4 Security Management Solution. “These casino-centric products,” said Clynton Higgs, managing director of IndigoVision APAC, “offer unprecedented coverage of the casino floor.
“In the past casinos would have featured a lot more analogue cameras but now we’re seeing operators embracing IP and HD technology. It’s actually moving faster than expected.”
IP Video cameras, such as IndigoVision’s 11000 HD Fixed Dome, deliver crystal-clear images at full frame rate to deliver greater security to casino management. Images can be displayed together onto a single screen, for example, to give casino personnel a complete overview of a gaming table.
“In Asia, where new integrated resorts are on a scale unseen elsewhere, there is strong demand for such solutions,” Higgs told InterGaming. “It’s a very buoyant market, compared with Las Vegas. Here new projects are being approved and are going up quickly. These new properties are huge and require much larger camera systems.”
Higgs heads up IndigoVision’s operations in this part of the world from his base in Singapore.
