The Venetian on the Las Vegas Strip stands ready to welcome thousands of international visitors once more as the Global Gaming Expo Las Vegas 2024 kicks off.

Speaking at a press event at the event’s first day on Monday, Korbi Carrison, event vice president, G2E at RX (pictured right), said it was a sign of the show’s global importance that they were hosting 115 international exhibitors - more than ever before.
The event is bringing together more than 400 exhibitors and participating companies for this annual event. With visitor registration ongoing, numbers have not been released, but Carrison said they seemed to be on track to match last year’s figures of more than 25,000.
Senior vice president, membership and events for the American Gaming Association, Maureen Beddis (pictured left), who joined Carrison on the panel, added that the events and education schedule was bigger than ever before.
Alongside the keynote programme, the event is hosting more than 100 education sessions, an increase on the previous year, with topics ranging from technology’s impact on gaming compliance programmes to developing markets such as Brazil and the UAE.
“Planning for the shows begins more than 12 months beforehand, and attendant feedback is hugely important to make sure we are delivering on what the industry needs from such an event,” said Carrison.
The first day was filled with keynote speakers and educations sessions as well as the G2E reception event. The expo itself opens today and will run until Thursday, October 10.
