New figures from the Nevada Gaming Control Board have shown a gaming win of US$1.22bn for the month of February 2025, a fall of 9.3 per cent year on year.

For the Las Vegas Strip particularly, the figure was $690m, a fall of 13.8 per cent year on year.

In 2024, Las Vegas hosted the Super Bowl on February 11 which brought in an influx of players, and being a leap year, it also included an extra day’s worth of revenue.

However, despite earning less revenue, the state collected $75m in fees from casinos, a 6.7 per cent increase on February 2024.
