Throughout 2024, Colombian lotteries, chance and Raspa&Listo transferred more than US$146m to health funds, an increase of seven per cent against the previous year.

The 15 lotteries that operate in the country contributed $61m to local and departmental health funds. In addition, Marco Emilio Hincapié, president of Coljuegos, indicated that, throughout the year, territorial games paid out winnings of more than $400,000.

“Chance, lotteries and Raspa&Listo continue to show positive performance in their sales and transfers for health. We estimate that with these resources, medical services could be provided to 488,187 Colombians under the subsidised regime,” said Hincapié.

“This shows that it is worth playing legally. For this reason, we invite Colombians to continue buying chance, lottery and Raspa&Listo tickets only from authorised sites this year. This way, they can win million-dollar prizes and contribute to the health of those most in need.”
