The American Gaming Association (AGA) has added to its gaming public service campaign with a fifth element called “Keep Your Cool.”

The message further enforces the educational message behind the AGA’s Have a Game Plan. Bet Responsibly campaign.
It already advises players to Set a Budget, Keep it Social, Know the Odds and Play Legally.
The AGA said recent research had inspired the addition of Keep Your Cool.
It said 66 per cent of Americans believe responsible gaming campaigns are effective, up from 59 per cent in 2023.
Seventy-nine per cent of physical casino players and 85 per cent of sports bettors think these programs work, the research said.
The association added that the latest pillar of the campaign further discourages the harassment of athletes.
“Responsible gaming efforts like Have A Game Plan and other proactive efforts by legal operators are resonating with consumers and making a difference,” said Bill Miller, president and CEO of the AGA.
“‘Keep Your Cool’ builds on this momentum by reminding bettors that a betting result – good or bad – is not an invitation to criticise a team, official or athlete.”
