Detroit’s three casinos have reported an aggregate monthly revenue of US$117.4m for March 2025.

$116.8m of this came from table games and slots, which is a fall of 4.5 per cent on the previous year. The three casinos paid $9.5m in gaming taxes to the state of Michigan through the month, as well as $13.9m in wagering taxes and development agreement payment to the City of Detroit.

$571,215 of the total revenue came from retail sports betting. The casinos reported a total retail sports betting handle of $12.1m. The casinos reported paying $21,592 in gaming taxes to the state and $26,390 in wagering taxes to the City of Detroit.

The March market shares were 46 per cent for MGM, 31 per cent for MotorCity and 23 per cent for Hollywood Casino at Greektown.
