The Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) has proposed a US$10.5m fine for Resorts World Las Vegas (RWLV) to settle allegations of anti-money laundering.

If the Gaming Commission approves the fine, it would be the second-highest fine ever in the history of the state, behind only a $20m fine against Wynn Resorts in February 2019.
In addition to the fine, a set of conditions could be placed on the gaming licences of RWLV, including regularly reporting anti-money laundering activities to the NGCB.
In August 2024, the NGCB issued a complaint against RWLV and its parent company noting a number of alleged anti-money laundering and compliance shortfalls, including ones involving bookmakers Mathew Bowyer and Damien Leforbes, who are facing charges of money laundering.
