Having been in the big chair for only a month, the new CEO of Resorts World Las Vegas, Alex Dixon, discusses milestone achievements and unlocking the property’s true potential.

Standing one January morning in the grand lobby of Resorts World Las Vegas, of which he had so recently been made CEO and anxious to impress, 44-year-old Alex Dixon keenly awaited the arrival of his father.

Having worked the Las Vegas Strip in his own time, Dixon’s father was well acquainted with its iconic venues, but of course, Resorts World Las Vegas, owned and operated by the Genting Group, only opened its doors in June 2021, on the site of the former Stardust Resort. Dixon knew the new role would mean another move for his family, but this was his chance to let his father see for himself that it was worth it.
