IAAPA is now one of the 'must-go' amusement exhibitions

The IAAPA Attractions Expo is undoubtedly now the biggest international trade show for the amusement and attractions industry, both in terms of scale and importance. Taking place on November 12-16 at the Orange County Convention Centre in Orlando, Florida, this year’s event is anticipated to attract an estimated 25,000 attendees and 1,100 exhibiting companies. This, the organisers say, will mean the show floor will feature products from more than 90 product categories, ranging from rides and shows, to amusement equipment and systems technologies.

“The who’s who of the worldwide attractions industry will gather in Orlando for IAAPA Attractions Expo 2012 to find the next big idea in our industry,” said Chip Cleary, IAAPA president and CEO. “The trade show floor is where industry professionals can see those potentially business-changing ideas come to life.”

The feeling among the amusement industry is that IAAPA is the show to attend because it offers an opportunity to broaden your client base beyond the narrow confines of the traditional amusement space and into the wider entertainment and leisure arena. It is also a show that has a truly global reach.

“IAAPA is the premier trade show and buying event for existing and prospective operators around the world,” said Adam Steinberg, CEO of Embed. “The Orlando location is an easy, family-friendly location that delivers valuable educational information and a true representation of the products and services available to our industry.”
