SHOPPING centre rents and employee wage increases are the two biggest factors facing Australian amusement centres today, according to Tony Argery of Funhouse Family Entertainment Centres, based in Brisbane, Queensland.

But for all that, there are many opportunities for the industry to grow in today’s entertainment-rich and technology-savvy society. So says Greg O’Malley, who heads the company’s Club Division, a subsidiary he set up with Funhouse CEO Argery to specifically market amusements to Australia’s thousands of members’ clubs.
