Following Google’s lifting of its ban on gambling apps last month, Jackpot Mobile Casino has released its Android app onto the Google Play Store.

Google had previously prohibited the listing of gambling apps on its native apps store for regulated markets such as the UK, France and Ireland. Once this ban was lifted, Jackpot Mobile Casino was quick to recognise the opportunity.

“Our team at Jackpot Mobile casino has worked very hard to be one of the first companies to launch a real-money gambling app on Google Play Store. This is a huge opportunity and it will allow us to further strengthen our position as the best mobile casino in the UK market,” said a company spokesman at the launch.

“Online and mobile casino is a fast-paced industry with new improvements in the technology every day. Since our company has a penchant for technology and innovation, it should come as no surprise that we were able to launch our android app before most other casino companies in the UK,” he added.

The app offers a unique collection of blackjack, classic slots, roulette, themed slots and more. The players can play their favourite games developed by well-known developers, including NextGen and Nektan, on the go. The apps feature synchronised sound effects and high definition graphics for augmenting the experience of the players on mobile screens.

When questioned about security features, the lead developer of the app said: “The app is completely secure as all the transactions are encrypted. We have tied up with the best encryption software providers in the industry to have a safe and secure environment for our players so that they can concentrate on playing games stress free.”
