GEORGIA, a country in the Caucasus region of Eurasia, which is located at the crossroads of Western Asia and Eastern Europe, is expected to become a new centre of gambling in the post-Soviet space.

This has come about thanks to a series of government measures aimed at attracting global casino operators to the country. It is planned that particular attention will be paid to the provision of additional tax benefits to the industry and further reduction of the existing taxes.
