Having made significant inroads into a number of international markets recently, Czech VLT specialist Synot Group has now announced plans to enter the Asian gaming sector.

The company, which has already expanded into Greece and Spain, has received accreditation as a producer and supplier of electronic gambling devices from the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau in Macau.

Synot is now among a select group of European companies to have received such accreditation.

“It is a great opportunity for us and we consider the accreditation as a necessary step for entering into Asian markets,” said Miroslav Valenta, sales director for the Czech and Slovak markets.

Synot intends to focus on east Asia, he explained, revealing that it is currently developing a project in Vietnam, which is considered a “very progressive market with great potential.”

Expansion into Asia is a part of the company’s long-term strategy of international growth, he added.

Synot currently operates in 13 countries. The company is exhibiting at next week's Irish Gaming Show in Dublin.
