The event drew 37 regulators from across the country’s nine gaming jurisdictions and covered a number of key topics, including new regulations, sports betting and verification tools.

During a Regulators Open Forum, 15 representatives of suppliers attended in order to gain a better understanding of regulators’ main concerns and challenges.

“This seminar brings to an end an incredibly successful year for GLI in Latin American and the Caribbean,” said GLI director of Latin American development Karen Sierra-Hughes. “We continue to be absolutely committed to this region and we are very pleased to be the only gaming laboratory that is bringing so much more than just testing to Latin America and the Caribbean, from educational events to many other professional services.”

Javier Diaz, GLI’s South America director, welcomed the support of the regulators, suppliers and presenters who contributed to the event and helped to make it “such a big success.”

He added: “With new and emerging technologies, there are many important issues facing regulators across Latin America, the Caribbean and around the world and we are proud to offer training forums such as this to our clients so they can benefit from GLI’s global experience and insights.”
