Yggdrasil now in Italy

For the first time, Yggdrasil Gaming slots are live in Italy.

This follows integration with GVC Holding’s Gioco Digitale, which is the first brand to bring Yggdrasil to the country. Another GVC brand, bwin.it, will soon follow suit.

Eleven games from the Yggdrasil portfolio of award-winning HTML5 titles, all homologated by the Italian authorities, including Dark Joke Rizes, Vikings Go Wild and Nirvana, are now available to Italian players. GVC’s Italian operation will also access BOOST, the Yggdrasil portfolio of in-game promotional tools to enhance the games.

Yggdrasil CEO Fredrik Elmqvist said: “This is a special moment for the Italian market, which has seen a significant increase in mobile gaming in recent years. We can boast one of the best mobile game interfaces in the business.” GVC’s Liron Snir, chief product officer, said: “It has been a pleasure to work with the Yggdrasil team throughout what has been a straightforward integration process.”
