Software and services supplier Playtech has unveiled the launch of the 21+3 blackjack side bet, which adds the perks of poker into every round of blackjack.
The feature is based on a player’s two cards and the dealer’s up-card. If the three combined cards form a straight, flush, three-of-a-kind, straight flush or suited three-of-a-kind, the player wins the side bet payout with enhanced odds.
If players receive a suited three-of-a-kind hand, they win 100 times their original side bet.
Playtech has licensed 21+3 from Games Marketing, the exclusive online rights holder.
Kevin Kilminster, head of live casino innovation at the company, said: “The 21+3 side bet is a great addition to the classic live casino Blackjack game and puts the excitement of poker into every hand.
