EuroSlots has become the first operator to launch games provided by Yggdrasil Gaming, a company spearheaded by former Net Entertainment Malts CEO, Fredrick Elmqvist.
A subsidiary of Sweden’s Cherry AB, EuroSlots has launched 10 live games, including a combination of both video scratch and video keno 3D character games.
Marius Anderssen, CEO of EuroSlots, said his company was “very excited” to have the exclusive first launch of Yggdrasil’s games, describing the latter’s approach as both “innovative and interesting.”
Elmqvist said that even though EuroSlots has a casino profile, the company is convinced its number-based games will be successful. He also hinted that the company has plans to accelerate its development into new markets.
“While EuroSlots has a European focus and Europe is the primary market right now, some games in the portfolio are based on a US patent and we are very excited to start looking at the US market as well,” he said.
