All 12 of Atlantic City’s casinos have given notification of their intention to apply for online gaming permits ahead of the July 7 deadline set by New Jersey regulators.

The Sunday deadline is in anticipation of a potential November 2013 launch for online gaming in the Garden State after the practice was given a green light in late February, following months of legislative machination.
Forecasts estimate that the New Jersey online gaming market will generate $500m to $1bn a year. The licences to operate online gambling sites will be limited to the state’s 12 land-based casinos.
