For the first time, Microgaming has designed a free download 3D mobile app specifically for Microsoft Windows 8.0 and Xbox. Bronzebeard Blackjack The Strategy Coach, which had its first showing at the GSMA Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, is a play-for-fun multi-level card game which teaches players how to play blackjack.
The app is available as a free download from the Microsoft Windows Phone Store and, once downloaded, does not require internet connectivity. The animated game supports the latest Windows phone, as well as older operating systems, and will soon be available on Microsoft Windows 8.0 and the Microsoft Xbox console via Xbox Live.
Neill Whyte, head of product channels at Microgaming, said: “This is a very exciting development for Microgaming and shows our intent to develop games for all operating systems and platforms.
“The game is easily accessible through the Microsoft Windows Phone Store and, so far, the application is receiving very positive reviews online, which is fantastic to see.”
