At the NGCB’s meeting on Wednesday, board members unanimously recommended Bally for the licence, which will enable the company to provide B2B i-gaming solutions for the state’s casino operators.

CEO Richard Haddrill described the news as a “historic day” for the company, Nevada and the gaming industry as a whole. Nevada is the first state to adopt a statute allowing interactive gaming and the first state to adopt regulations for online gaming of any kind.

“We are very grateful for the board’s recommendation and are excited about being the first company recommended by a US state for licensing to offer online gaming products and services,” said Haddrill. “We are proud to achieve yet another milestone in our 80-year history and look forward to further supporting our Nevada casino customers with our technology in this exciting arena.”

The NGCB’s recommendation will be reviewed by the Nevada Gaming Commission on June 21. If approved, Bally plans to offers its i-gaming platform technology and content to casino operators.
