Asian sports betting site 12Bet.com has recently launched its European operations.

As part of this move, 12Bet.com enlisted GB Group to manage its online ID verification processes. The ID3 technology has the capabilities of checking more than 800 million citizens in over 26 countries.
 
"Following our strategic entry into the European market, a key requirement for us was to be able to accurately verify identities across borders," said Rory Anderson, CEO for Europe at 12Bet.com.
 
Following a risk-based approach to ID verification, GB Group’s ID3 technology will enable 12Bet.com to identify customers around the globe, as well as block those from countries where they do not want to do business. Equally important was the need for the technology to meet regulatory requirements, which GB Group’s ID verification product does.
