Amaya, the Montreal, Canada-based gaming company and owner of PokerStars, BetStars and other leading brands, has appointed Jerry Bowskill as chief technical officer.

Bowskill is responsible for the overall technological performance and strategy of the business, reporting to CEO Rafi Ashkenazi. He will lead more than 300 technologists and developers worldwide.
Bowskill joins from Partis Solutions, a company involved in the provision of corporate services to the interactive gaming industry.
Before that he was chief technology officer at TouchTunes Interactive Networks, the music and entertainment platform. Bowskill had also worked for Scientific Games and Playtech.
