Two new directors have been nominated at Amaya, the provider of products and services for the gaming and online gambling industry.

Amaya names director candidates

The Canadian-based company’s two potential new board members are Peter Murphy and Mary Turner who will come up for election at the annual meeting on June 21.

Murphy and Turner have 50 years’ experience in the industry between them. Murphy is the founder and chairman of Wentworth Capital Management, a private investment and venture capital company with interests in digital media and entertainment. He is a one-time president of strategy development at Caesars Entertainment and is also a former senior executive at Walt Disney.

Turner was in the tyre industry until retirement in 2016, but was once a partner at Deloitte and Touche in Toronto.

Meanwhile, two of Amaya's directors have stepped down, General Wesley Clark and Dr Aubrey Zidenberg.
