Payment services provider Acapture has received a Class II licence from the National Gambling Office in Romania, the ONJN, authorising the company to process Romanian online gambling payments.

Romania nod for Acapture

The licence is intended for a range of third-party companies that work with gambling operators, including payment processors.

Romania requires the merchants’ payment service providers to obtain a specific licence to process Romanian online gambling payments.

“Now that we are licensed across Europe, our gambling solution is the complete package,” said Cheng Liem Li, chief commercial officer at Acapture.

“It is equipped with all the payment features gambling companies need, with maximum up-time, support for the payout of winnings and in-depth regional knowledge to deal smoothly with scheme changes.

“As a payment processor strongly focused on supporting cross-border business for our merchants, Acapture’s goal is to make international gambling payments as seamless as possible.”
